Vacation Prep...

Well, we are finished with the preparations for our vacation. For the first 2 full weeks of July, we are going to Nova Scotia to see Liz's parents.

For the last week or two, Liz has been busy painting the girls' bedrooms, the upstairs living room and the hallway. I must say, the girls picked out some interesting colors. We are very blessed that Liz is such a diligent worker and very creative as well.

My prep is of a different flavor. I had to replace the wheel bearing / hub assembly on our car, change the transmission fluid on the van, and a few other minor tweaks before the long drive. Yes, we are driving to Nova Scotia and back (around 3,000 miles round trip).

And now... everything is packed up in the van and ready to go - bright and early - tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we leave the U.S. and will spend the night in Quebec.
